Global Lifestyle Expo 2024: Essential Guidelines & Event Information for Local Participants

We are pleased to welcome you to the Global Lifestyle Expo 2024. All attendees should carefully follow the guidelines and terms to have a smooth and enjoyable experience at the Expo:

Event Details

• Dates: June 15 & 16, 2024
• Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: UBC Robson Square, Class Room level Room C150 & C180. (Entry through the main Lobby on Robson Square)

Registration and Entry

1. Free Registration: There are no registration fees for the local participants, they are all welcome to attend our event. However, they must go through a pre-registration process. Interested participants must fill out the registration form at globalexpo.ca.
2. Ticket Confirmation: Once successfully registered, the participant will receive a confirmation email containing their e-ticket and event details. Please bring a printed or digital copy of this ticket to the event.
3. Photo ID Requirement: All attendees must present a valid photo ID along with their e-ticket at the entrance for security purposes. Driver’s licenses, passports, and state-issued identification cards are also acceptable as forms of identification.

General Guidelines

1. Age Restrictions: All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Prohibited Items: Several items are prohibited at the venue in order to ensure the safety of all attendees, including but not limited to:
   • Weapons of any kind
   • Illegal substances
   • Outside food and beverages
   • Large bags or backpacks (small bags are allowed)
3. Security Checks: At the entrance, attendees will be subjected to a security check. Please cooperate with security personnel to ensure a smooth entry process.
4. Code of Conduct: As it is a formal event, attendees are expected to maintain themselves appropriately and in an orderly manner. The person who engages in harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will be removed from the event without warning.

Event Policies

1. Photography and Filming: As a participant in the event, you consent to being photographed and filmed. These images and videos may be used by event organizers for promotional purposes.
2. Personal Belongings: All the Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The event organizers will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
3. Re-entry Policy: During event hours, attendees are permitted to leave and re-enter the venue. However, they must present their ticket and photo ID each time.
4. Health and Safety: Be sure to adhere to any health and safety guidelines in place at the time of the event. This may include wearing masks or following social distancing protocols, subject to local health regulations.

Liability

1. Assumption of Risk: Participation in the Global Lifestyle Expo 2024 entails the assumption of all risks associated with the event. The event organizers will not be responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the event.
2. Force Principal: The event organizers have reserved the right to cancel or reschedule an event in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters.
